From Secretary's Desk
Swami Vivekananda, a great thinker and reformer of India, has very aptly said that the end of all education is man making. In this stage of man making, man becomes aware of his self as identical with all other selves of the universe; hence education, in Vivekananda’s sense, enables one to comprehend one’s self with in as the self everywhere.
Kopargaon Taluka Education Society works with same principle of man making and nation building. Considering the need of education, K. T. E. Society started K. J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce in June 1964. Since then, we have tried our level best to impart value based job oriented and real life education. We are keenly interested in developing research culture among the staff and students and to carry out society oriented eco-friendly research for the development of the region. I am sure we will definitely contribute a bit in the conversation of nature and sustainable development of the nation through bench marking ourselves as an institution of repute at national level.
