(2018-19)

·         The Library has a total collection about  72711 printed volumes including books, textbooks, reference  books, Encyclopedia, dictionaries, Gazettes, atlas etc.

·         This Academic Year 2018-19 purchased 764 books of Rs 3, 81,087/- (Total 479 Text books and Total 285 Reference books Periodical section is also enriched with Mathematics new periodical and Rs 81546 subscription renewal. 

·         Library subscribes to total 18 daily newspapers including on each in Hindi, Marathi and English are subscribed by the regularly.

Library Activities of the Year 2018-19

·         Conducted library orientation programme for newly admitted students in the college – at the beginning of the academic year for newly admitted student’s library is conducting orientation programme it includes whole information about the library 890 Students are Orientated with the library services & facilities, collection 

·         Information literacy programme for database users- Library has subscribed N-LIST database for e journals and e books, 832 students are aware about how to use the online resources and the information about how to access the INFLIBNET –N-List Database, also other online educational resources.

·         Every quarterly library is arranging the books exhibition, of general reading books, competitive exam books, science reference books with eyclopedias.

·         Library has created E zone for the users. - 05 advance version PC for the usage of library database, Internet searching for staff & students also.

·         Conducted a Lecture for PG on e learning Through SWAYAM MOOCs. 112 students were presented.

·         Library Created Readers Group & MOOC’s SWAYAM Online Courses

·         Library is providing ICT based services to the users. Like OPAC, Internet facility, Automation etc.

·         Library celebrated “Vachan Prena Din” on the occasion of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jayati. On 15^th Oct. conducted the different activates. Like book review competition Lecture on “Importance of reading”.

·        Participated and Presented paper on Sustainable Development of Academic Libraries: Future perspective held at Poona College, Pune International Conference. Paper published in Ajanta UGC Listed Journal (Journal No 40776)

·       Library at a Glance

ü  Academic Year 2019-20 purchased books of Rs 4, 83,271/- Periodical section is also enriched with some new periodical and subscription renewal of 91 journals of Rs 98613/-. 

ü  Library has purchased Braille books for skill development of differently abled students.

ü  Library fulfills the need of researchers, teachers, students and other staff members of the college community. Library also serves to the outsider users through Library for senior citizens. The central library has sections like; Acquisition, Circulation, periodicals, Reference, Reprography, Stack room, Newspaper and E zone. Central library and reading hall. All the books have been classified with the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Circulation of books is done by using Vriddhi software. OPAC facility is made available to the users.

ü  Library is user friendly and techno driven and automated with barcode technology. 

ü It offers various services along with some innovative practices.
